Dr. Ruben Gapasin is recognized of his researches in plant pathology particularly on the biological control of nematodes and soil-borne pathogens in root crops. Dr. Gapasin’s studies finds significance in the control of nematodes considered one of the major factors contributing to the occurrence of crop disease, low yield and poor quality of farm produce.
